Industrial Plate Cutting

Drawing-based custom steel plate cutting — not a generic sheet metal shop.

YUNCUT supports industrial buyers who need custom steel plate parts reviewed before production — including thick plate, machinery components, structural connection plates, and export-oriented projects with secondary processing coordination when confirmed in scope.

Fit

Steel plate & heavy plate

Machinery parts, OEM brackets, wear components, structural plate, and project-driven heavy plate work within the 0.5–200mm combined range.

Scope

Metal fabrication support

Cutting plus coordinated secondary operations — beveling, drilling, tapping, and finishing — when agreed during manual quotation review.

Boundary

Not thin decorative sheet

Buyers searching only for thin-gauge decorative sheet metal or consumer sheet-only cutting may not be the right fit. YUNCUT is stronger for plate, heavy plate, and industrial part programs.

For a useful first review, send: material grade · thickness · quantity · drawing or specification availability · tolerance requirement · delivery country · application.

Buyer Concerns

Four questions international buyers ask first.

Steel plate sourcing from China raises the same practical risks. Here is how YUNCUT addresses each one on the production floor.

01

Is this a real factory or a trading company?

YUNCUT is a production facility with cutting equipment, finishing lines, and inspection on-site. The team that reviews your inquiry works with the same group that cuts and inspects your parts.

02

How do I know quality will stay consistent?

Tolerance and edge requirements are confirmed at quotation stage. Every order goes through dimensional inspection before packing. If supplied parts do not meet the mutually confirmed drawings, specifications, or agreed inspection criteria for reasons within our control, we will verify the issue and arrange corrective action, rework, or replacement as appropriate.

03

Which method fits my thickness and tolerance?

Laser covers 0.5–55mm with tighter tolerance. Flame covers 30–200mm for heavy structural plate. If you are between 30–55mm, share your tolerance requirement — we recommend the practical method before production starts.

04

Can parts arrive export-ready with clear communication?

Parts are deburred or slag-removed as required, inspected, photographed before shipment when applicable, and packed for export. Overseas contact points support communication outside factory hours.

Tolerance Guidance

Tolerance depends on your plate, method, and geometry — not one universal number.

Final tolerance is confirmed during manual drawing review and quotation. Laser and flame cutting should not be described with a single tolerance for every project.

Factors

What affects tolerance

Material grade, plate thickness, part size, geometry complexity, cutting method, thermal deformation risk, and any secondary processing such as beveling or grinding.

Laser

Thin to medium plate

Laser cutting typically achieves tighter bands on thinner plate — for example ±0.1 ~ ±0.3 mm depending on part size and geometry. This does not apply to all thick-plate work.

Flame

Thick and heavy plate

For thick plate — especially around 100mm or heavier — flame or heavy-plate process review is usually required. Typical flame bands are coarser (±0.5–1mm). Do not assume ±0.1mm on thick flame-cut plate.

Secondary Processing

Cutting is often the first step — not the only step.

Beveling, drilling, tapping, and related processing can be included when confirmed in quotation scope — not implied in every base cutting price.
