What to Prepare Before Requesting a Quote.

You do not need drawings to start. The more information you can share, the faster and more accurate your quotation will be.

Required Information

Start with these five things.

01

Material Grade or Reference

Tell us your steel grade using your local standard — EN (S235, S355...), ASTM (A36, A572...), or JIS (SS400, SM490...). We confirm the equivalent before production.

02

Plate Thickness

Thickness determines cutting method, tolerance, and pricing. State in mm. If you have a range of thicknesses in one order, list all of them.

03

Quantity

Number of pieces or total weight. For plate-from-sheet orders, approximate size and quantity of finished parts.

04

Destination Country

Affects logistics planning, shipping terms discussion, and lead time estimate. Include port if known.

05

General Use or Application

What are the parts for? Welding, assembly, direct use? This helps us recommend the right cutting method, tolerance, and surface finish.

Helpful But Not Required

These speed up the quotation process.

Drawings

DXF, DWG, PDF, STEP

If you have drawings, share them. If not, start without — we will ask when needed for accurate quotation.

Tolerance

Dimensional Requirements

If specific tolerance is required (±0.1mm, ±0.3mm), state it. Otherwise we quote to standard tolerance for the cutting method.

Surface

Edge & Surface Finish

If parts need grinding, beveling, shot blasting, or specific surface condition, mention it. Standard deburring is included.

Holes

Drilling or Tapping

If parts require drilled holes or threaded holes, include sizes and positions. We quote cutting and machining together.

Deadline

Expected Lead Time

If you have a delivery deadline, share it early. Urgent orders may be possible for small quantities — confirm at quotation.

Inspection

Inspection Requirements

If third-party inspection is required (SGS, BV), request it at quotation stage — not after production starts.
